Dr. Conway has been practicing dentistry in the Bowmanville area since 1989, and still sees many of the same patients and families he has been seeing for years. His long-time patients enjoy seeing his friendly and familiar face every time they come in to visit. Dr. Conway believes that building trusting and loyal relationships with patients and families helps to make the dental experience much more pleasant and comforting.
Dr. Conway grew up in the small community of Barry's Bay, Ontario, and received his BSc in Mathematics from Western University in 1982. He later went on to achieve his DDS from the University of Toronto in 1986. Dr. Conway practiced dentistry in Northern Ontario for several years before relocating to Bowmanville in 1993. Dr. Conway and his team of professionals serve the dental needs of families in Bowmanville, Clarington, Orono, Newcastle and Courtice.
Outside of his profession, Dr. Conway enjoys traveling, skiing and spending time with his family. He has two daughters and a son, as well as an adorable miniature dachshund named Brandi.
Dr. Ali graduated with a bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1987 from the University of Baghdad and as a Doctor of Medical Dentsitry from the University of British Columbia in 2011.
As a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Newfound and Labrador Dental Board, Nova Scotia Dental Board and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Dr. Ali's main priority is providing the highest standards in dentistry to his patients. You can rest assured that you will be in the best hands regardless of your dental needs. Dr. Ali is passionate about dentistry, and particularly enjoys root canal treatments and cosmetic dentistry.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Ali enjoys playing the guitar, traveling and sightseeing, finding the hidden gem in every area he visits.
Certified Dental Assistant-Level II
Jennifer began working with Dr. Conway in 2006, and graduated with honors from Trillium College in 2008. Jennifer is passionate about her work, as well as getting to know new patients and making their dental experience as comfortable as possible. She unwinds by drawing and creating various wood-burned crafts.
Jennifer married her high school sweetheart in 2014 and is overjoyed about the upcoming arrival of their first child. Born in Bowmanville and raised in Oshawa, Jennifer enjoys camping and cottaging with family and friends. She looks forward to new experiences, both inside and outside the office, as well as all the adventures life has to offer.
Emily has been a dental assistant for 9 years now. She began working summers while still in high school and has been a full-time assistant for over a year. She grew up in Bowmanville and is a graduate of St. Stephen's High School. Emily received a BSc. Human Kinetics degree from St Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia in 2015.
Emily likes to sing, read and play sports in her spare time. She loves country music, volleyball, snowboarding, and is a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Heather has been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1996. She has worked with Dr. Conway since 2008. Her career in dentistry started after graduating from Georgian College as a Certified Dental Assistant. She followed that up with a Certificate from Holland College in PEI (Preventive Dental Assistant) In 1995-1996 Heather attended Durham College and graduated with honours distinction as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Heather takes great pride in her profession and works diligently to give each of her clients a very thorough cleaning each time they come in. Clients often comment on how gentle her care is.
Heather lives in Clarington with her husband and three children and dog, Jessie. Her hobbies include watching her children play sports, downhill skiing and camping.
Kasey began working in the dental field in 1991 as a dental assistant. She obtained designation as Certified Dental Receptionist in 2007, and began working as a dental receptionist in 2008. Kasey has worked with Dr. Conway since the year 2010. She grew up in the town of Whitby, Ontario and has lived in Bowmanville since 2005 with her husband, two sons, and cute dog, Rex. Aside from her dental profession, Kasey is an avid reader and enjoys cooking and spending time at her family cottage in Buckhorn.
